Never Give Up!

“Every Pain  there is Gain,Every Thorn there is Crown”

When you are about to give up,exasperated and ravaged by hopeless thinking and left discouraged by trials and difficulties, and complain as they come.Dont forget that God is working to make us and mold us in the image of His Son. He does this often by using trials and difficult circumstances to refine us. Let us highlight the word “refine”.This six-lettered word is magnificently used  in the bible to mean purity of gold that has undergone refinements thru fire and  genuineness of faith when refined by trials.

“These have come so that your faith–of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire–may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed”.1Pet 1:7

Like fire refines gold, trials refine us. A finished product has undergone refinements. It is washed, unwanted elements had been taken out and impurities eradicated. A refining fire is responsible for  removing all impurities. There is no denying that  gold can eventually be destroyed. But not faith – and its worth much more to God than gold. We cannot boast of anything to God except our faith and trust in Him….

Fail not once, twice, over and over again inorder to succeed…

I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. Twenty-six times I’ve been trusted to take the game-winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed ~ Michael Jordan.

“So, for the long-term health of the league, we would rather do more to level the playing field among our teams, so the teams that have disparate resources are all competing with roughly the same number of chips so to speak.”-Adam Silver, Incoming commissioner of the NBA in 2014

When you walk to the edge of all the light you have and take that first step into the darkness of the unknown, you must believe that one of two things will happen : There will be something solid for you to stand on, or, you will be taught how to fly.
